How it works
Using a design sprint approach, we engage with stakeholders to co-create green interventions in the built environment.
The process is fun, engaging, and democratic, giving space and time for each participant to share their ideas and vote on priorities, brief development, and possible locations.
Participants develop a unified approach, create individual designs, and vote on a final design, which will be developed further in the next stage.
Think
When a design mandate is determined, the focus shifts to delivering the project on site. This starts with a detailed design process and the creation of CGI renders, with final feedback requested from the stakeholders before fabrication begins.
As part of the construction phase, we involve the participants as much as possible whilst maintaining high levels of safety, to further embed a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the project.
The constructed project is celebrated with an opening event, to which all the initial participants and future users are invited.
Make
The built project is activated through a combination of community action, planned events, and continued maintenance provided by TMG.
Community planting events are planned alongside workshops that educate stakeholders on how to engage with the project, to ensure the best outcomes.
The users of the project are free to plan their own activities throughout the year to build a real sense of community, and TMG are available to provide ongoing maintenance services to ensure the project always looks its best, regardless of the season.
Grow
Through a combination of co-creation, design expertise, ongoing maintenance, and continued planning, the completed projects deliver on their promise to benefit people, place, and planet.
